The director of Go24 Group Ltd, Andrew
Kristoffy, specializes in the realistic
business development of mass-market
travel information services.

Through Go24 Group
Ltd he is placed as the Business Development
Director for two German companies:
Mobile Info Broadcast Consulting (MIB),
a service value chain development,
implementation and management consultancy,
and GEWI, a software company developing
Traffic Info Centre (TIC) software
used to collect, manage, distribute
and broadcast live traffic information
across the world. |

Andrew balances technical and
business issues which originated with
his study of both subjects: he earned
his BSc in Computer Systems Engineering
at the University of Massachusetts,
Amherst, USA and his MBA at the Tanaka
Business School, Imperial College,
London, UK. While at Imperial he
was awarded the Ford Motor Prize in
Management for a marketing project
of practical use to the automotive
industry, and afterwards served as
the President of the school’s alumni
association. He is qualified as a
Chartered (Professional) Information
Systems Engineer with the British
Computer Society (BCS). |

Andrew was introduced to the traffic
information industry in 1997 as Business
Projects Manager at the Automobile
Association (the AA) in the UK; there
he purchased GEWI’s TIC Software for
the UK’s first demonstrator of RDS-TMC
traffic information broadcasting.
He has since worked with the long
chain of organizations required to
build and maintain navigation-quality
traffic information services, including:
Traffic Master, NAVTEQ (North America),
BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, Vodafone, England’s
TRL and Highway’s Agency, various
national radio broadcasters, and a
series of European automobile clubs
and navigation set manufacturers. |

Prior to traffic information,
he gained a working knowledge of business
processes at both strategic and practical
levels at the headquarters of Lloyd’s
of London (insurance), Unilever (consumer
goods), Halliwell Landau (legal),
Pilkington’s (manufacturing), and
in the USA, Digital Equipment Corporation
(IT, now HP). |
