The director of Go24 Group Ltd, Andrew Kristoffy, specializes in the realistic business development of mass-market travel information services.

Through Go24 Group Ltd he is placed as the Business Development Director for two German companies: Mobile Info Broadcast Consulting (MIB), a service value chain development, implementation and management consultancy, and GEWI, a software company developing Traffic Info Centre (TIC) software used to collect, manage, distribute and broadcast live traffic information across the world.
Andrew balances technical and business issues which originated with his study of both subjects: he earned his BSc in Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA and his MBA at the Tanaka Business School, Imperial College, London, UK.  While at Imperial he was awarded the Ford Motor Prize in Management for a marketing project of practical use to the automotive industry, and afterwards served as the President of the school’s alumni association.  He is qualified as a Chartered (Professional) Information Systems Engineer with the British Computer Society (BCS).

Andrew was introduced to the traffic information industry in 1997 as Business Projects Manager at the Automobile Association (the AA) in the UK; there he purchased GEWI’s TIC Software for the UK’s first demonstrator of RDS-TMC traffic information broadcasting.  He has since worked with the long chain of organizations required to build and maintain navigation-quality traffic information services, including: Traffic Master, NAVTEQ (North America), BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, Vodafone, England’s TRL and Highway’s Agency, various national radio broadcasters, and a series of European automobile clubs and navigation set manufacturers.

Prior to traffic information, he gained a working knowledge of business processes at both strategic and practical levels at the headquarters of Lloyd’s of London (insurance), Unilever (consumer goods), Halliwell Landau (legal), Pilkington’s (manufacturing), and in the USA, Digital Equipment Corporation (IT, now HP).
